MY SERVICES

Job Reportage

Professional photographer based in Strasbourg, I produce bespoke job reportages for businesses, craftspeople, institutions, agencies and local authorities. Through my images, I document the expertise, the gestures, the production sites and the human dynamics that embody your activity.

A SENSITIVE APPROACH

Photographing a profession means photographing people

Before photographing a place or a tool, I focus on understanding the men and women who work there. I pay attention to gestures, rhythms, routines. I look for that moment of truth, where a professional is focused, aligned with their tool, and where the setting makes sense. Photographing a profession means capturing the human element at its most authentic: expertise, pride, precision.

I work through immersion. I take the time to observe, to exchange, to understand the stakes. This allows me to blend in and capture genuine moments, without forced staging. What I seek is not a beautiful image. It is an accurate one.

SHOWING THE USE

Images to showcase, convey and recruit

Every job reportage has a purpose. It may involve documenting a rare skill, showcasing internal teams, illustrating an employer brand or building an image library for communications. The uses are many: website, annual report, social media, recruitment campaigns, press, exhibitions or heritage archives.

My role is to deliver images that are ready to use, coherent, readable and meaningful. I adapt the visual style to your company’s positioning: institutional, authentic, dynamic, sensitive… Every project is unique.

A SENSITIVE APPROACH

A simple, smooth and effective working method

My process always starts with a conversation. I want to understand your activity, your expectations, your constraints. Together, we define a brief: who to photograph, where, when, for what purposes, with or without interactions.

I then travel to the site with lightweight and discreet equipment, so as not to disrupt the activity. I adapt to the pace of production, I respect safety guidelines and brand charters. I can work alone or with an assistant depending on the complexity of the subject.

After the shoot, I select the best images and retouch them with care. Deliverables are provided in formats optimised for web and print. I also remain available to advise you on the best use of the images: distribution strategy, publications, materials…

SHOWING THE USE

Reportages in business, industry, craftsmanship and services

I photograph a wide range of professions: workshop managers, engineers, researchers, chefs, craftspeople, logistics staff, teachers, healthcare workers, site managers… Each environment is a new discovery, each subject a new visual challenge.

In industrial settings, I focus on showing the machines, but above all the people who operate them. In craftsmanship, I highlight the gesture, the material, the transmission of knowledge. In the service sector, I concentrate on the atmosphere, the organisation of spaces, and human interactions.

Job reportage is also a powerful tool for internal communication: giving visibility to teams, building a sense of belonging, showcasing behind the scenes. It strengthens the link between discourse and the field.

A SENSITIVE APPROACH

Authentic visuals, far from stock images

Many companies still use impersonal visuals from stock image libraries. Yet nothing compares to a bespoke photo reportage to tell your story. Your employees, your machines, your premises, your gestures. Nothing more credible, nothing more distinctive.

My images do not deceive. They showcase without artifice. I play with natural light, precise framing, contrasts of material. My style is direct, refined, human. It adapts to your brand codes while maintaining a strong artistic standard.

SHOWING THE USE

A photographic eye grounded in reality

My approach draws on a dual culture: that of auteur photography and that of professional commissions. I compose with the rigour of documentary reportage, while seeking to elevate reality. This allows me to deliver series that are both effective and distinctive.

My initial training in engineering, my years of management in industry, and my photographic practice give me a particular understanding of work environments. I quickly grasp organisational logic, workflows, constraints, which enables me to produce images that are adapted, relevant and useful.

Collaborations with demanding businesses and institutions

I have worked for SMEs, large corporations, local authorities, design agencies, schools, and associations. Each collaboration is an opportunity for a new encounter, a new perspective, a new photographic playground.

I am also sought out by artists, art craftspeople and designers to document their creative process. In these more sensitive contexts, my approach becomes even more discreet, more immersive.

SHOWING THE USE

Why choose a job reportage with me?

Because you are looking for something other than a stock image. Because you want to tell your story with sincerity, with aesthetics, with humanity. Because you believe in the power of images to convey, showcase and unite.

My work is about supporting you in this narrative. With discretion, with respect, with commitment. I do not seek to transform your reality, but to reveal its beauty, its precision, its uniqueness.

A well-conceived, well-executed job reportage can become a valuable asset for your brand, your communication, your memory. It is a lasting investment, far beyond a simple visual effect.
