The west-facing façade presented an interesting challenge: managing sunlight to capture the new texture of the plaster and the regularity of the openings. I took advantage of the raking light at the end of the day to highlight the volumes, while also integrating the greenery of the esplanade, which softens the mineral environment.

The mission entrusted to the CNb.archi agency was to capture in images the subtleties of a restrained yet strategic intervention: rejuvenating the façade, enhancing the exterior walkways, and highlighting the overall transformation of the building within its urban context.

This project embodies the DNA of my photographic work: revealing the evolutions of an old building through a sensitive reading, rooted in reality but attentive to the intention of the designers.

From the street, I also staged the renovated facade in contrast with the neighboring buildings that had not yet been renovated, thus accentuating the added visual value brought by the work. Views from below highlight the building’s vertical geometry, while the rooftop access offered a striking perspective on the surrounding urban density.
