Located in La Ravoire (73490), in the immediate vicinity of Chambéry and not far from Aix-les-Bains, the La Chêneraie project is part of a territory undergoing rapid urban development in the heart of Savoie (73). Designed by the agency Unanime, this residential complex develops 198 dwellings in R+7, including a senior residence of 130 dwellings, 68 collective dwellings, a commercial space on the ground floor as well as a basement with 140 parking spaces.
The project is organized around a central island heart, the true backbone of the operation, structuring the circulation and views between the different buildings. The architectural design is based in particular on a marked approach to textured concrete, bringing texture and depth to the facades, and affirming the materiality of the project in its environment.
The photographic report focused exclusively on the exterior spaces, in accordance with the framework defined with the agency. Certain interior areas, including the senior residence, were not accessible at the time of delivery. The images thus highlight the volume, the structure of the facades, the controlled density of the project, and the relationship between the buildings and the landscaped central courtyard.
Among the images taken, one photograph was the subject of three proposals retouching, in order to refine the reading. One particular element of the facade caught the eye and altered the visual hierarchy of the image.
