Vend’Home Residence

The aim of the photo essay was to capture the urban rhythm of the neighborhood. I worked with wide shots to show the permeability between the buildings, the transitions with the neighboring residential area, the pedestrian and cycle paths, and the views of the canal. The architecture of the buildings plays with pitched roofs, staggered volumes, and visual openings. This composition creates a fluid and varied rhythm, which I sought to capture with precision.

Architectural photographer in the Grand Est region, I was commissioned to produce a report on the Vend’Home program, located in Vendenheim, on Rue du Commerce.. 

This residential project, designed by Oslo Architectes and AA+ Architectes, is situated in a rapidly changing neighborhood. It blends owner-occupied housing, social housing, and duplexes, arranged in spacious blocks.

The image processing was guided by the clarity, clean lines, and understated elegance of a vibrant yet peaceful neighborhood. This reportage is part of my approach as an architectural photographer specializing in housing in Vendenheim: revealing the balance between density, quality of life, and architectural legibility. Vend’Home embodies a contemporary vision of…collective habitat, accessible but demanding.

I also focused on the interiors, particularly the penthouse duplex in Building C. This open-plan space benefits from generous volumes, triangular windows, and abundant natural light. The chosen framing highlights the connection between interior and exterior spaces and showcases the quality of their use. The well-designed entrance halls complete this sensitive portrayal of everyday life.
