Fibula Residence

The architectural design plays on controlled verticality and gradual setbacks in the attic. The volumes are punctuated by visual openings, loggias, and continuous balconies, which provide breathing room in the façade. The materials combine light-colored plaster, metal railings, and anthracite-colored joinery. I composed views in grazing light to highlight the texture of the surfaces and reveal the building’s guiding lines.

As an architectural photographer in Strasbourg, I was asked to document the La Fibule project, a residential development designed by the agencies Debene and Dossmann. This development is situated within a mixed urban fabric, close to transport links and public amenities. The aim of this report was to highlight the balance achieved between density, residential comfort, and architectural expression.

This photo report is fully in line with my approach as an architectural and housing photographer in Strasbourg: to document projects that contribute to urban transformation, with accuracy and clarity. La Fibule offers a measured response to the contemporary challenges of collective housing, and my work consists of highlighting its qualities through a simple, legible, and faithful image.
