Reimagining a historic bookstore through interior design

Located beneath Strasbourg‘s historic arcades since 1817, Oberlin Bookstore is an independent bookstore specializing in theology and regional publications. Redesigned by 120GR, the project rethinks circulation, light and interior organization to create a brighter and more fluid environment.

For this interior architecture photography project, the focus was placed on atmosphere and spatial perception. Through materials, custom furniture and light, the images reveal how thoughtful design interventions can transform a compact space while preserving its original identity.
