The main constraint lay in the layout of the space. The space for stepping back was limited. I had to compose precisely, choose effective angles, and simplify the framing. The balance of whites and the faithful reproduction of color contrasts (vibrant orange, intense blue, luminous white) guided my settings, both during shooting and in post-production.
As an interior architecture photographer in Strasbourg, I was commissioned to document the restructuring of the 90m² premises. of the Lower Rhine Transport Company, Place des Halles. The objective: to reveal the clarity, energy, and coherence of this project with its bold colors. The conditions for the photo shoot were precise: minimal distance from the camera, complete respect for the colors, and careful management of reflections and light.

Designed by the agency Lullin Architectes, this renovation was undertaken as part of a public project. It combines functional efficiency with a strong visual identity. This report reflects my desire to document places undergoing transformation, even modest ones, when the architectural approach becomes clear, coherent, and meaningful.
Each image aims to highlight the project’s graphic elements: custom signage, integrated furniture, plays on transparency, and sculptural lighting. The reception hall’s layout—with its simple volumes, reflective materials, and clear perspectives—was photographed to emphasize the spatial clarity and strength of the concept.
