ELEVATING ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY

THE ART OF POST-PROCESSING

PHOTO POST-PROCESSING

TO ELEVATE ARCHITECTURE

In my work as a photographer, the shoot is only the first step. Post-processing an architectural photograph is the moment when each image reaches its full potential.

I do not seek to transform reality, but to translate it faithfully. This stage allows me to reveal the light, correct perspectives and render materials with precision.

MORE THAN SIMPLE RETOUCHING

POST-PROCESSING

People often speak of “photo retouching”, but in reality, post-processing encompasses all the work carried out after the shoot.

RAW file development.
Contrast and colour adjustments.
Straightening lines and correcting optical distortions (particularly verticals and the horizon line).
Removing distracting elements that divert attention.

Every intervention has a clear objective: to showcase the architectural project while respecting the designer’s intention.

MAKING THE DIFFERENCE

WITH LOCALISED POST-PROCESSING

Localised post-processing focuses on specific areas. In architectural photography, this approach (often overlooked) is clearly essential to elevate the final result. For exterior visuals, for example, it removes elements that hinder the reading of the project: road signs, advertising displays, bins…

Even a brand-new building, perfectly designed to blend into its environment, can have its images disrupted by such details. Correcting them restores an image faithful to the architectural vision, with a clean, refined and enhancing result.

METICULOUS CRAFTSMANSHIP

AT THE SERVICE OF YOUR PROJECTS

In architectural photography, details make all the difference.
A façade must reveal its texture.
An interior must convey its lighting atmosphere while respecting the chosen tones.

My post-processing is attentive to every nuance: shadows, reflections, the balance between interior and exterior. This attention to detail ensures harmonious images, ready to be used across all your media: website, press kits, publications.

I rework my photographs so that the eye is immediately drawn to what matters most: the project.

A PRECISE EYE AND EXCEPTIONAL POST-PROCESSING

MY SIGNATURE

What sets me apart is the importance I place on this stage.
I never deliver a raw image. Every photograph is thought through, worked on and refined until it best reflects your project.

All final delivered photographs benefit from meticulous post-processing to ensure they are faithful, impactful and timeless.

For each project in my portfolio, you will find a before/after comparison at the bottom of the page, demonstrating the value of my post-processing work in architectural photography.

IN TIME-LAPSE

Architectural photo retouching in progress...

To concretely illustrate my post-processing approach, I offer three time-lapse videos showing my work on the same architectural project. You can see the different stages — global corrections, localised adjustments, light management and visual clean-up — that allow a raw image to reveal its full potential.

These sequences demonstrate the rigour, precision and consistency required to achieve a faithful, balanced and enhancing result for the photographed architecture.
